This rowing machine's computer has a built-in wireless Polar compatible receiver. When used with a heart rate monitor, it will give you live feedback on your pulse rate. Exercise within your preferred heart rate zone to gain great results.
You can increase your strength, burn calories or improve your cardio by exercising in the correct heart rate zone for your goal. Use the Bluetooth-enabled Polar H10 Chest Strap (sold seperately) and you'll be able to view detailed statistics of your workout whilst tracking your progress over time on a selection of training apps.

The type of resistance on a rowing machine will influence the price, size and overall rowing experience.
Air rowing machines create resistance by pushing air over an internal flywheel. The harder you pull on the handle the faster the blades of the flywheel turn, which creates more resistance to the air flowing past it. So as long as you are putting effort in, an air rowing machine will provide an intensive workout that matches your fitness levels or strength. Great for simulating outdoor rowing, air rowing machines are often found in gyms and rowing clubs.
Magnetic rowing machines change resistance by moving magnets closer to the flywheel. The resistance is changed manually by the user. This type of rowing machine doesn't provide the rowing experience you would achieve at the gym or on the water.
Mag-air rowing machines combine the benefits of air and magnetic resistance. They use air to provide the main resistance, which allows you to achieve a real rowing feel. They use additional magnetic resistance to offer a range of workout programs. These programs alter the resistance according to the program selected. Programs will vary the length of the workout and the intensity throughout, to assist you in reaching various fitness goals. For example, high-intensity interval workout programs will help you burn calories and develop your anaerobic capacity.
